The birth of the Section Bulletin

The first issue of the Section Bulletin was published in July 1988. It is important as a medium for communicating our activities and also gives a record of the petroleum activities in Italy, with the description of the most up to date technologies employed in the industry.
There are three issues per year, with a special issue for some particular occasions. Each issue is printed in 1,100 copies.
The Bulletin is of a conveniently compact format and it has never changed since the beginnig. It was an idea of Cesare Colamasi, at the time Chairman of SPE Adriatic Section.
It gives strong support for the expansion of SPE in Italy.
