Season
2006-2007
STYPED main activities will be with us for all the months 2007.
Are you a student or a young engineer? What are you waiting for?.. Partecipate in STYPED activities!! Activities are described here below.

Continuous Education & Program Creative Workshop were created in order to enrich young resources through useful and enjoyable activities. Enjoy your self but enrich your knowledge!

Continuous Education Program (CEP): Based on a survey conducted among young professionals, this series of workshops and lectures is structured as a regular program, the aiming at fulfilling specific requirements of young professionals. STYPED provides a cycle of lectures related to key areas of the oil & gas business. The main drivers of this program are the variety of subjects, and the best-in-class lecturers, that volunteered to participate to the CEP, offering their time and knowledge "for free".

Creative Workshop: Introduced in 2003 it was a real breakpoint with respect to all the activities previously organized by STYPED. Though simple it is extremely useful and enjoyable: a maximum of 25 participants interact with each other for a full day in an informal and welcoming environment, such as a farm or a mountain house. Experienced HR professionals guide them through discussions, presentations, and role-plays on subjects such as team leading, self-motivation, and management styles. Is your job taking place far from Italy at this time? If your working life, day-by-day, is fascinating why don't you think to divide this with us?...Everybody go around the world with your eyes!!
Write your experience in The World & Young Program.

wy.jpg (4428 byte)The World & Young Program is meant to interact with all our young colleagues (maximum 35 year old) that are working abroad and are then enjoying different realities, fascinating experiences, and day-by-day issues. The goal of the W&Y Program is to travel all around the world together with our colleagues and to gather all the experiences in the form of a short articles with pictures, to be published on the STYPED Journal. Are you part of Oil & Gas industry? Write a paper on a technical topic; it will be published on yournal and perhaps you will be given a prize!

paperaward.jpg (6160 byte)The Best Paper Award is open to any student and young professional, working in an area related to the Italian Oil & Gas Industry. Papers are submitted to the Award Committee and, among all the papers received, three are selected for the final award. The awarding ceremony will take place during the annual SPE Christmas cheer in December 2007, in order to make this award more visible also to the senior members.
Of course, we mean to make the Best Paper Award a regular event on our calendar.
